You create your own story within your session in Toca Life World. The project only creates the platform, but you fill it with "life" yourself. Send your characters to an amusement park or spend the whole day together arranging items and cleaning. In Toca Life World, you can experiment, explore your surroundings, and learn new things. Try your hand at cooking, the recipes here, though simple, but interesting enough.

As part of the gameplay of Toca Life World, the user takes the place of an outside observer. You can interact with the items, characters, make permutations in the apartment, but you will always observe the process as if from the side. Controls within the gameplay are very simple. If you have installed Toca Life World on your computer, you will be able to use the mouse to manipulate the environment of the characters and the characters themselves. Touch one of them, then hold down the mouse button and drag them to the desired room. So, for example, to send one of your characters to the shower, in Toca Life World you first need to move the figure to the bathroom, and then turn on the water by touching the faucet.
